Left handed pitcher starts for Toronto so we counter with 3 lefty hitting outfielders, talk about roster constuction.
Guess they could have played Vilade. Oh wait!~

I like VSII a lot. He'll break out of his mini-slump.
X Dee
But...
While his speed screams CF, his arm keeps crying out LEFT FIELD. Anyone else feel VSII is a future left-fielder?
Not enough power for a corner spot.
How much power did Brock, Skates, and Vince have in Left? More than one way to skin a cat.
But they were not .230 hitters.
Speaking of .230 hitters...when was the last time Lars Nootbaar didn't suck?
Add Scott to that, but at least he runs fast to first after hitting a weak grounder.
The humor in this forum is what keeps me coming back.
That's how Scott will bust his slump. Loved Noot but I'm beginning to think he's the most overrated player on the team.
I was super fan for a while still am but he’s starting to make me a non believer. He’s really fallen off a cliff.
Not to pick on you (or anyone), but we all tend to forget that a baseball season is a marathon and not a sprint. I'm guilty as well. We're sky high when a kid has a few good weeks and we're ready to run them off the team after a few bad weeks. Guys get hot, guys cool off. Guys have great years and then not-so great years.
I still think Scott is going to have a really nice career.

LOL
Had enough of watching these guys although I admire them.
PUT THE BALL IN PLAY.
Bloopers, bleeders, dribblers, bunts.
And no pop ups!
Productive outs!

This pitching staff is awful. It’s falling off the cliff. Any good impression they’ve given in the first two months was a mirage.

I think we're about done, fellas. It was a nice month. But being unable to get the scrubs in the bottom 2/3rds of this line up out is killer.
I'm afraid our pitching isn't good enough to win consistently, add that to our spotty offense and you have a fourth place team. The slide is just beginning.

I agree on Scott.
But I am beginning to disagree on Nootbaar. He's got one season hitting north of .250. I don't think it's a slump. It's who he is. A career .240ish hitter who doesn't hit enough homers to overcome being a weak contact hitter.
