Do the Cardinals need to get Burleson in the lineup, even against LHP, to get more possibly offense going?
Yes, the Cardinals definitely need Burleson's -22 wRC+ (and career 44 wRC+) in the lineup against LHP.
Hide and watch.

Very nice indeed. Hope for more good things from the talented Walker. Imagine Walker, Burleson and Gorman all get it going now.

Before Walker’s homer, I said to my wife: He needs to start hitting or start packing. Happy for the young man. He probably bought himself another day in the majors.

Miles catches a lot of grief but outside of the clunker in Boston he has been excellent.
Don’t exactly shower him with run support either!

The Giants have moved right-hander Jordan Hicks into a bullpen role. Hicks’s spot in the starting rotation will go to right-hander Hayden Birdsong, who is now slated to start for San Francisco against the Royals on May 20

Mikolas's 18-win 3 ERA season, was he a pending FA?
Wonder if that's motivating him or if the Royals are just this bad. They're 5 over .500 they can't be terrible.
EDIT- oh thank gawd Cameron's night is done!
