Oli didn't let Matz go long enough for a win.
I hope he did it because Matz wanted out. Otherwise it's demoralizing for Matz.

Not if Oli has anything to say about it!
Matz out after 4 innings and 73 pitches.
No win for you!

Oli didn't let Matz go long enough for a win.
Matz was at 73 pitches today and he threw on Sunday as well.
Matz made 13 pitches in relief on Saturday, not Sunday.

Fine, he was throwing on 3 days rest and I'm sure was on a pitch count limit, as I believe this is only his 2nd start this season. Bash away on Oli though.

I doubt it all matz cares about is having a full healthy season. Hes only thrown 50 or more innings twice in 6 seasons and for him to get decent money he needs to be healthy and effective all season. I’m not a Mo or oli fan but I like the way they have handled him so far. Hes been valuable as a reliever and a spot starter and it’s because they have handled him well. Hopefully he can stay healthy enough to get them something in return at the deadline

Reds announcers wowed with Scott’s defensive speed. Pointed out his highly rated outs above average too.

He definitely never needed defensive replacement

agree 100%
those late game switches were to get Walker out of the game but he's been really good this year

I don’t think Walker did either
