I don't like Burley at 3, at all!

I am not holding my breath but goodness it would be an injustice if the team still goes with Siani in center after the spring VSII has put together.

I read the Post article saying if Oli didn’t envision him as starter, he would want him playing full time at AAA rather than a lot of bench time.
I worry that as well as Scott has progressed that a AAA placement now could affect him emotionally. Chance it could really bum him out and affect him long term.
Even if he can play in platoon in CF, I would like to see Scott on final roster.

We are seeing today how productive and explosive the Cardinal's lineup can be when the right people are playing.

Sadly we know Oli loves 140 different lineups over the course of a season.

These 9 should be in the lineup and on the field defensively.

Always utilizing OBP and speed whether you have Scott leading off of batting 9th. Winn should be where historically he is best -- batting 8th.

That lineup will score runs and succeed as far as the pitching takes us.

My thoughts: Scott MUST start for St. Louis when the season opens. Not Memphis. Just saw him in Jupiter and he looked as good as any player on the team. Saini is a great defensive centerfielder who cannot hit above .200 with little to no power. Scott gives the Cards a better chance to win, plus he’s no slouch in the outfield or on the bases.

That's the catch 22 this year, if Matz and Fedde pitch well enough to be in demand for a trade,
the team could be in the hunt for the Central.
That doesn't get talked about enough on here.
If Arenado, Helsley, Fedde, Matz, etc... play well enough for a team to want to trade for them, the Cards should have a decent record.
