No. To be the 26 man you need to bunt, run, play superior late defense. His poor ratings greatly out weigh the benefits.

The 26 man is a master of jack of all trades. Vic Davillio. Matty Alou.
Never say never. Predicting the future with assuredness only leaves you exposed to possible future ridicule.
I didn’t predict anything. I stated what it took to be my 26 man, and correlated his stats previously posted. Then I described the position with former examples.
You described the characteristics of a 26th man, and have examples. To display why TS won’t be that guy. Never say never. It exposes you to crow later.

Ok. I didn’t - to display anything. Those things displayed where his stats previously posted. Did you see them?

They show him poorly. They do the prediction. The stat stands alone. I just agree or disagree.

As do you.

Agree! Thomas is a very talented versatile player. Much like Donovan, Saggese is a gamer. Injuries and poor ST performances could provide an opening for Thomas.

Do you mean his stats as a young 23 year old, getting his first few hundred plate appearances at the major league level?

If. Those stats posted correspondence with your notion, then yes. To be clear. I haven’t stated he sucks or isn’t a good 26 man. I said no, as his living stats don’t show promise as a predictor of future performance.

That’s what they’re there for. Stats.

SB - You mean like 2 years ago, when as a 21 year old at AA, he slashed .306/.374/.530/.903 with 26 HR and 111 RBI in 139 games? Led the minors in hits and total bases? Those type of "stats"?

Terrible take, guy.
Do some research. Have you followed him before this past season?
I never have watched a baseball game in my life, guy. Let's grab some wine coolers and chit chat about the WNBA, I will school you, pal.
