McKenna will be playing next year for sure and I would guess Stenberg provided he comes over would as well and I suspect he will.

Could you imagine the "Consolation prize" of getting bumped to 3rd being Gavin McKenna?

Vancouver is taking McKenna for many reasons, one of which is possibly stealing Bedard away from Chicago
Hey Pierre, could you expand the stealing Bedard from Chicago statement? Is there a rumor or story behind that? Thanks.
Just speculation on if he’s really willing to sign long term in Chicago. Rumors are that he would like to play for his home town team. Having his cousin in Vancouver would definitely improve the Canucks chances of possibly getting Bedard in the future
That must be a years away type speculation since I don’t think he hits UFA until 2030 or 2031? And can’t see the Hawks trading him for anything less than Fort Knox.
He'll have the power to force it much earlier than that if he wants. UFA is not his only protection/tool
Bedard isn’t going anywhere. Chicago’s going to pay him, and the Hawks are going to be very good.
I have no idea what he or they will do but he has some options

Not going to happen. One of the top quarter backs in the NFL isn't showing up with a Vancouver Bedard jersey like he is in the second city...

Bedard is more popular than the sausage king of Chicago and he's only 20.

If he doesn’t ink a long term deal come July…you better get prepared. Of course the NHL wouldn’t want that so they might rig the lottery again just so he won’t leave :x

LMAO Chicago sure is a weird place, a QB who paints his finger nails.

Now their fans claim a pro athlete will stay because in Vancouver another grown man wont wear his jersey.

What a bizarre place.
