I am at the game on the 40yds line about 40 rows up and here is a quick halftime update from this Missouri heavy section.

1) The general consensus from the crowd is our play calling is very suspect. 3 QB designed runs and 2 bubble screens all need to be removed from the playbook. Virginia is pulling out all the stops offensively and have players running all over the place on plays. Their offensive creativity is making Eli look like he is being way out coached on offense.

2) Zoellers accuracy looks to be off as he missed some easy wide open throws but just seems to be overthrowing so maybe he is just too hyped up for the game and will settle down the second half. His first two passes were scripted and he has not hit many since that first drive. The OlIne is giving him time so he needs to settle down.

3) Our run game, outside of the one big run, has looked pedestrian. One problem that people are screaming is we only run right up the middle and have not tried any runs off tackle. Seems we are being very predictable on the run. Duke killed them on jet sweeps and RBs runs outside, but we have not tried any of those. No idea why we have not used the Duke blueprint.

4) Lastly, the crowd is about 60-70% Mizzou fans as we traveled very well even though probably only 30k here. Also, not sure you can tell from TV but there are about quite a few Florida Gator fans here and they are pulling for Mizzou which is a little odd.

Drink is a gutless wonder and Tollison just waves at the guy he supposed to block, and soon as the game is over, get on the phone, catch a bus, send a seach party but find a punter

I know Drink wants to lean on Hardy/Roberts, but this isn't the Arkansas defense, we're going to have to throw the ball. It appears Zollers is getting a vote of "no confidence" from Drink, and rightly so. Unless Zollars steps up in the second half there is no way we go into next season with him as the number one QB.

What have you seen from Zollers that excites you, other than his recruiting ranking?

He's played parts of four games in SEC plus play.

He didn't have a senior high school season due to injury.

Some of you guys have him as a failure already and his career is just starting.

If Pribula put up a first half of 5/9 for 37 yards, most of this board would be screaming for Zollers.

In no way am I saying he's a failure, but he's shown absolutely NOTHING to give me any faith that he can be the guy next year. If he starts next season, I really don't think we even make a bowl.

At least Pribula could run. Zollers can't run or pass.
