If Arenado was a rookie we would be thrilled with him at third. Problem is he is not and it is time to move on, even if the next guy is not as good defensively. They made the right move with Goldschmidt last year and hopefully they can make the right move with Arenado this season.

Are the Cardinals a better team with Arenado at third?
No.
Not in any universe.
Next question please.
Many here say yes. Defense is top three ML. Offense is last three- just kidding.
What’s your take.
No organization improves by embracing a failed past.

N/A has been a complete debacle for the past 2 years.
In every way.
Bringing him back would be lunacy.
STL traded him once.
They must do it again.

Yes, they are better with Arenado at 3b. But it won't matter. They'll suck regardless. Same manager, same coaches, same philosophy, weaker roster than 2025.
Oli Ball will once again prove to be a boring, losing style. Gee, I can't wait.
How'd Oli do when he had an actual, talented team in 2022?
He underperformed. Any more questions?
NL Central champs with 93 wins.
Yeah, imagine what they could have done with a competent manager.
