Not buying this. They fell in love with their business model and stopped updating it, refused to listen, or re-evaluate. They rested on their laurels.

Ozuna was a great player when the cardinals traded him and he was a great player for Atlanta after the cardinals let him go. For some reason it just didn't work out here.
If he was the same 30+ HR and 100+ RBI guy he was in Atlanta the last few years then he would have been a great trade.
Also Alcantara has had one good year with the marlins, hes not like some superstar

Nice try! LOL
You’ll always be our prized Sideshow Clown.
Of course you ducked/dodged the question which has always been at the heart of your posting history!
Now do one of two things per usual:
1) Run away and hide like a coward?
OR
2) Launch into some rambling/babbling post about how wonderful you are?
Easy
Obvious
Correct

No it wouldn’t have been a good deal.
A two year rental for two fully cost controlled starting pitchers isn’t a move the mid market cards should’ve been making.
And their absence aligned, almost exactly, with the cards’ biggest needs from 2020-2025…
The trade was a combo of needless desperation and inferior talent evaluation.

Reuniting Pujols, Wainwright, and Molina was the defining moment of the TOXIC CULTURE.
I was the only person who fully and immediately understood what it meant at the time.
And said so.
But…..but…..they were “fan favorites”
Don’t give yourself too much credit amigo…
I hammered the Wainwright/molina decisions big time….and I have the scars administered by
The People’s Temple to prove it….

I never give myself too much credit.
If anything, I am too modest.
And yes, I believe it when you claim you were against the Molina/Wainwright traveling 2 ring circus.
