To lose game 1 at home then go into Midland and handle their business on the road x2 is impressive. We will be checking in on this group for the next several years. I hope this is just the beginning for these guys. Also admirable that the promotion of Wetherholt didn’t slow this group down. Seems like if anything, they picked it up a notch.

Gazdar is sneaky...he hits...all he does is hit. Austin Peay State grad...bit of a power hitter against lower competition in college, changed his swing a bit to just get on base as a professional....a lot of singles...good replacement for JJ.

Winning as a group is a great thing. I remember Tommy Herr, Ken Oberkfell, among others coming up together. They knew how to play the game, and this bunch does too.
