This ump is awful too. The replay can't get here soon enough, but two challenges will not be enough when they miss 12 to 15 calls a night.

just make sure you challenge properly, and you keep your challenges. 2 wrong ones, and you're out of them

most of these guys have used the challenge system in AAA. The rest who are veterans used it in Spring Training. They'll get another go at it next March...they'll have a game plan, I'm sure.

Scott is a good flychaser, but he is a cipher at bat, and has a noodle arm.

one neat thing about the ABS system...it's being used in Low A...or it was used in Low A, season is over with now, to test Check Swings... brilliant system, and it worked flawlessly. The test was 1 challenge with the ABS. If you were correct, offense or defense, you keep the challenge. If you're wrong, then no more ABS challenges on check swings, but you can still appeal to the field umpire.

I personally would like to see that make its way to the Big Leauges....check swings need to be 100% called correctly. The eye test has been so flawed.

...NY review was questionable... I didn't think there was enough evidence to overturn the ump... That and the big strike zone Webb is getting sorta hamstrings the Cards...

This replay system is just flawed. There is no way that there was clear and convincing evidence that Scott was out to overturn the call I thought Scott was safe but to say that he is clearly out is just [nonsense].
