I'm having trouble getting over that.
Anyone know a therapist?

this is that time-worn scenario:
home team scores in bottom of 8 and then gets 3 outs in the 9th

I have no problem with a Sac Bunt...2 were executed perfectly. It's not like we've been setting the world on fire this year with RISP...but we were still given a chance. I loathe station to station baseball, we've had that all summer and it doesn't work...especially with a team that uses 5 or 6 players with below average speed in their everyday lineup.
The execution after the successful Sac Bunt didn't work. Keep Sac Bunting...improve your RISP hitting <----- That's the real issue.
Lord knows we can't hit HRs like the better half of the league....small ball it up, I say.

I absolutely love it when our opponents try to sacrifice bunt!craviduce wrote: ↑20 Sep 2025 20:29 pm I have no problem with a Sac Bunt...2 were executed perfectly. Nobody else in the game today makes that play but Nolan Arenado.

I'm just offering a opinion...and we've been knocking our heads against the wall with this station to station, no runs producing RISP problem all summer long.cardstatman wrote: ↑20 Sep 2025 20:37 pmI absolutely love it when our opponents try to sacrifice bunt!craviduce wrote: ↑20 Sep 2025 20:29 pm I have no problem with a Sac Bunt...2 were executed perfectly. It's refreshing seeing this team try to manufacture runs. Someone told Oli that "he's allowed to manage the last 9 games", no more analytics of "do plan A, then plan B, etc"
like I said above...we can't hit for power often enough...we just can't. Station to Station doesn't work for us.

I realize he can't hit anymore, but Arenado is still fun to watch.
Pages, Walker, Scott for the walkoff win!
