Jiricek and Dvo have been good, Carbonneau solid the rest meh periodTruBlueFan_1970 wrote: ↑12 Sep 2025 19:51 pm Maybe I’m in the minority, but even with the goal, I haven’t been overly impressed with Jiricek. He’s been good, but not great.
Blues weren’t sharp at all. Hopefully they get some better play in the 2nd. Wild being very physical. I expect Burns to respond.

Re: Tom Kurver Prospect Showcase
Didn't they practice in STL this morning, then they came up? That's a long day. Also, last year, same type of play, lots of broken play from both teams. There were opportunities in the first, I think we'll see better play in the 2nd & 3rd.
Jiricek looked smooth skating and had a few nice passes and a bomb that missed from the point. Doesn't look super skinny either.

Dvorsky shoots the puck into pads & skates a lot.
Re: Tom Kurver Prospect Showcase
At least our power play seems on par with the big club

Small sample size, but none of the Blues look NHL ready. Pekarcic and Lindstein don’t look good at allHarry S Deals wrote: ↑12 Sep 2025 19:54 pmJiricek and Dvo have been good, Carbonneau solid the rest meh periodTruBlueFan_1970 wrote: ↑12 Sep 2025 19:51 pm Maybe I’m in the minority, but even with the goal, I haven’t been overly impressed with Jiricek. Dvorsky's shot looks NHL ready.
Big time trouble in our own end.
Sloppy skating and passing.
Excited as heck to be watching this.

Jecho with the tip in 3-3. Chippy 2nd period.

Re: Tom Kurver Prospect Showcase
Blues came together more in the 2nd they look like a lot of kids that haven't played together before
Top line of Dvo Carbs and Stenberg have been pretty good
Jiricek is good very smooth big skilled. Lindstein is solid probably not a PP QB tho. A lot of the Blues depth guys are slow to move the puck disjointed plays

3-3 after two. Blues had the better play that period. Carbonneau flashed a few times, Peterson laid the wood a couple of times, Fisher is quiet but solid on blue line, I watched him a lot this last period and I think he's going to be solid someday. Lindstein is crafty. He's not a big kid, but he seems to be in the right place a lot and knows what to do with the puck when he's got it. Stenberg seems sneaky around the goal. He gets lost and then he's on the doorstep getting scoring chances.
