That’s cute. Tell me, what part of Tennessee whiskey distillation is subject to tariffs?

Been awhile but I've spent many a day on the Big Piney been on all of it from Mineral SPrings down to where it enters Ft. Wood. Good memories with friends, dad, uncle and cousin. I'll be in Missouri around Sept 20th, I may have to spend a day on it again.Cranny wrote: ↑14 Aug 2025 11:48 amFloat trip on the Big Piney that day. There used to be a great campground/livery at Boiling Springs off 63 about 5 miles south of Licking. A nice couple owned it and we went 2-3 times for 3 nights, floating and fishing during the day.HorseTrader wrote: ↑15 Aug 2025 09:08 amBeen awhile but I've spent many a day on the Big Piney been on all of it from Mineral SPrings down to where it enters Ft. I grew up south of Ft. Wood and went to school in Bloodland for 6 years and then finished at Plato.
It's still there. At one time it belonged to my cousin Judy and her husband. They sold it probably 6-8 years ago. They got tired of cleaning up after the spring floods. The Boiling Springs Resort here's the website and I believe they are on facebook https://boilingspringscampground.com/Bomber1 wrote: ↑15 Aug 2025 10:37 amThere used to be a great campground/livery at Boiling Springs off 63 about 5 miles south of Licking. It all got wiped out in a flood in 2016 I believe.

The place that your cousin Judy owned (if it is the one south of Licking) does not exist anymore, it was definitely wiped out in the flood, either 2016 or 2017. Such a day would just be more gaslighting from ownership and the front office. The fans could respond with collective chants of "Chaim" or "Bloom".![]()
Do you actually think there is any chance whatsoever that Bloom can or will be worse than Mozeliak?

Sorry but it is the correct link, check the address in upper right hand corner, BB HWy, Licking Mo. The resort is still open, it's been wiped out more then once but rebuilt. Sorry I missed this post. Glad we got it straight. If you like smaller rivers/creeks a couple of good floats are from 1- Simmons Ford Access (Big Piney River) between Houston and Cabool. I've gone from there down to the Baptist Camp Access. To go farther will require either private land access to get out or a LONG float down to Z hwy, probably about as easy to go on down to Dog's Bluff.Bomber1 wrote: ↑15 Aug 2025 17:13 pmHorsetrader, mea maxima culpa!!Bomber1 wrote: ↑15 Aug 2025 13:39 pmThe place that your cousin Judy owned (if it is the one south of Licking) does not exist anymore, it was definitely wiped out in the flood, either 2016 or 2017. My mistake, I drove down there maybe 2 years ago and there was nothing there except a house that had fallen into the river across from the old resort.
I’m really glad they’ve reopened; the float from Mineral Springs to Boiling Springs is a nice one and lots of smallmouth bass.
There is another place called Boiling Spring Campground that’s on the Gasconade.
Thanks for the info!
