Yep. Team can't hit. No stud bats in the lineup. Too many .230 hitters.

Cards were 9 games above .500 on June 29 (47-38).
They were then swept by Pittsburgh.
One month later, about to be back to .500.
No bueno.

It's what we should've expected i suppose. The 10 over .500 gave me false hope. Starting pitching fizzled and so did the bats. Shouldn't be surprised.

I don't think rentals bring much back. Probably best to make some off-season trades with most of these guys.

And that’s why you move this kid to a position he’s never played, one that leads the announcers and manager to giggle when he makes a routine play. What an organization. I don’t think you would see that at Pittsburgh.
