Still very young. Giant of a man who has gotten noticeably better in OF
Play POBO
I wouldn't trade him simply because his value is likely lower than ever. He's shown some flashes of putting it together this season and I really like the new stance. Of course, he's still putting up 0 fers like last night too often.

But he and Wetherholt are essentially the same age. That shows you just how young he was when brought up--which was definitely too soon.
Shows why you don't draft high schoolers. He has one option left

If he turns out to be a
.275
25-30HR
90RBI
Player then I’d assume no one trades him……how far below those numbers is he not tradeable.
What if he’s
.275
15HR, 65-70 RBI Player?
I would trade him.
Don't forget, he's a horrible defender. So if he can't hit, what's his value?

And midseason might be the ideal time.
Contenders aren't looking for untapped potential in trades.
Yeah, maybe. But right this very moment you can sell him as someone who is turning it around, and will benefit from a change of scenery.
Consider this.
As a general framework, would you trade Walker to Atlanta for Murphy (both under control for 4 years, I believe)?
Which would then make Crooks shoppable as another high value trade piece.
Imagine Murphy holding down the C position until Bernal arrives.
ATL's outfield is a mess other than Acuna - and they would surely covet Walker.
To be clear, I am not advocating for this but am simply providing a scenario in which trading Walker might be a reasonable move.
LMAO. No one covets JW playing OF, one option left, and a linebacker with no hurt in his bat

Murphys anZlB ready player. You're not getting him for Just Worthless

-7 DRS now, he's regressing big time in RF

I would not give up on him yet. I'd hate to see him traded before the new FO has a chance to coach him up. Of course, everyone has a price. His would be pretty high.
