Mathews indeed lost his control just when I was thinking this may be a great outing. Like you said, it was still promising.
I thought they were genius having Granillo come in in the 5th with bases jammed, but he gave up a first pitch single and then two walks. Best laid plans...

he's laughable at best with the defense. But Rincon is getting smacked around this inning.
