Just don't put him behind the plate vs the scrubbies (#2 in MLB w/90 SB's) or Reds (#10).

Or anyone else! He’s a DH. Like many others have said, they need to work him in LF this offseason.

I've said that since last year..........give him an OF'ers glove and have him work w/John Jay all winter + spring training!

If G. Luzinski, L. Smith, D. Kingman etal can handle the OF, then I'd think Ivan could too.

This entire organization lacks an impact bat in the OF, Ivan could be that guy.

And half of the ones he “caught” were pickoffs by the pitcher that he gets credit for, for some reason.
