Just always been a passion of mine. I watch a lot more Jr and college hockey than the NHL really. Helps that I briefly worked for a couple USHL teams. There’s a few others here that also watch the draft prospects very closely pretty much every year.a smell of green grass wrote: ↑27 Jun 2025 07:08 am I'm envious. I'm down on Desnoyers ever since he said that he was playing with bad wrists for parts of the season...I don't want a center with wrist issues at the age of 18.
Misa or Frondell for me at three

Well it’d depend on how bad the wrist issues are right? The other side of it is he was still really freaking good with wrist issues. Now that he’s getting it fixed, he could be even better.BalotelliMassive wrote: ↑27 Jun 2025 11:39 am I'm down on Desnoyers ever since he said that he was playing with bad wrists for parts of the season...I don't want a center with wrist issues at the age of 18.

But it’s also completely reasonable to have those 2 ahead of him, especially Misa.
Very curious what SJ will do at #2 tonight.

Grier shouldn’t look a gift horse in the mouth. Misa is there for the taking.STL fan in MN wrote: ↑27 Jun 2025 13:43 pmWell it’d depend on how bad the wrist issues are right? Your mock draft is already way off base. You have Montreal taking Carbonneau and Reschny!!
I kid I kid. I look forward to comparing the mock to what happens!

I just saw on Twitter that SJ is listening on the 2nd pick and is looking for young good player in return. Maybe Buffalo should have tried to JJ + 1st + to SJ to try to get #2.

Oh I agree. Misa all the way if I’m SJ. I think the Frondell stuff at 2 is a smokescreen or perhaps an attempt to see if someone would offer something obscene for pick 2 but who knows. It’s shaping up to be a crazy day.Pierre McGuire wrote: ↑27 Jun 2025 13:52 pmGrier shouldn’t look a gift horse in the mouth. Oh I see. You expect disclaimers to be noticed and respected. Caveats and nuance, considered. After watching Dach flounder because of a wrist injury I'm not willing to take that gamble if I'm Kyle Davidson. Somehow he turned Dach into Nazar and a second round pick that I think eventually ended up being worked to move up for Sam Rinzel if I remember correctly...STL fan in MN wrote: ↑27 Jun 2025 13:43 pmWell it’d depend on how bad the wrist issues are right?
