I live about two miles west of Hammons Field and no rain here. The radar showed one little spot of rain that must have been right over the stadium. It drains very well there so it must have really poured for them to still be in delay.

about 20 years ago, I was at Pocono Raceway, and there was no threat of rain, a little cell popped up over the raceway and poured rain for 2 hours. 2 1/2 mile track, it took forever to dry that track....they had to bring in jet driers from NH Speedway to help get the track dried. Race was PPD till the next day.
