...not really... Burle had 2 strikes on him, and was likely not gonna see anything in the zone to hit for 2-3 pitches. Cards thought they might catch the Dodgers asleep and steal a run. Didn't work this time...

yes it did, up to 3 strikes or some other kind of out.
