Well you gotta remember a timeline of a prospect going to the NHL more quickly doesn't necessarily mean that was the ideal development path. It's a real thing that a prospect get thrust into a mode where they might succeed for a bit then it stalls out in a way that's not great. So I tend to less compare prospects that way because bad teams often need something to show their fans and there is pressure sometimes, particularly with marquee prospects.

A perfect example of this is Dvorsky. You could be saying, he doesn't seem like he's arriving with impact as fast as a few other guys. But I would tell you this. Dvorsky is a slow burn but he is going to be an excellent NHL scoring center. I'm watching Lindstein's G1 sudden death OT right now but I'd rather turn it to Grant McKagg who can explain on Dvorsky better than I can.

Thank you for the discussion.

It would be great for Dvorsky to be a cornerstone and lead talent for us. He's a very likable team player without a doubt. His size, intelligence and grit would put his name on a lot of kid's backs.

It's very encouraging to hear that people are bullish on him based on observation. Thanks for sharing.

I mean ... Thomas, Holloway, Dvorsky ... those three players are absolute catalysts and two of them have already ripened in the NHL. Stenberg is such a swiss army knife and he is going to have a long NHL career like both his younger brothers.

I find it difficult not to recognize we are in the dawn of a time with our forward corps that is going to make this team a contender for a period, as long as the defense is as good as it is now or better. I do not think this team's D matches up with 2019 but as discussed I think they have some true NHL talent developing back there and I think it needs a major finishing piece within 12-24 months and then we are cooking with gas.
