I admit it’s not ideal but biding time until Noot is back.
Then we’ll see who is in CF? Church deserves the job but they probably want to also give Scott some leash.
As for Noot? Whether he stays or is dealt you HAVE to play him!
Hopefully our Corner OF’s next ST will be Walker & Baez?
The Noot return will be interesting!

Some argue over calling it rebuild or reset?
Whatever?
I like to think I set realistic expectations of this season prior to it starting.
So far? Pleasantly surprised and I like Bloom’s approach up until now.
Still don’t understand some on here freaking out that he is not doing enough to WIN NOW!

I’m sorry fellas…..I retract WIN NOW….I’ll also send a note to each starter letting them know that this is a RUNWAY, RESET, REBUILD year according to the favorite narrative. Their performance should take a notch down because this is REALLY confusing the simple minded fans who were programmed in the offsesason that Winning this year clearly wasn’t a possibility, fans must wait till all those 3-4WAR prospects are primed and ready.Cusecards wrote: ↑11 May 2026 17:29 pmYes runway year.TopofthePerch wrote: ↑11 May 2026 14:03 pmYes we could see movement after that but I feel this is the runway year and nothing is going to change that not should it.Cusecards wrote: ↑11 May 2026 12:54 pmAgreeTopofthePerch wrote: ↑11 May 2026 09:45 am They're giving guys a runway and why would they bring up someone who needs to be playing just to send them back when Nootbar arrives. Maybe oli is giving Saggese enough pt to prove he doesn't belong in StL. Until Nootbaar returns, Fermin should get the starts in LF against lhp.rockondlouie wrote: ↑11 May 2026 09:02 amPatheticGoldfan wrote: ↑10 May 2026 20:10 pm The St. Louis Cardinals elect to start a LFer……who isn’t an outfielder……who is hitting .150…..and is 1 for his last 28

Is the FO or manager or both incompetent? It’s May 10th…..the team is playing well, winning, and require an effort every game to put out a competitive lineup.
C. Bloom is going to have to take JAGesse away (AAA and then toss him into any deal he makes midseason) from Oli who just can't seem to stop himself from playing this slug.![]()

The Saggese lovers in here (along w/the Oli lovers) hate it that I've been calling him J.A.G. almost since his arrival but even they have to acknowledge that's who he is, J.A.G.

Re: Left Field
Wish Bloom would call up Torres and Crooks.
Torres is hitting .333 with a .440 OBP and .940 OPS
Crooks is hitting .264 .418 1.050
Having two more .400 OBP hitters with .900 plus OPS would be huge. When Nootbaar returns Torres helps make a stronger bench. Even if those numbers come down a bit in the show, they by far exceed Pages, Urias and Saggese.
Wetherholt
Herrera
Burleson
Walker
Crooks
Winn
Gorman
Torres
Scott / Church

He has only played 20 games this season.
Pretty (bleep) unlikely with him "we win a few more games", and your point on "winning the division" is ludicrous.

I agree i would have preferred scott in center church in left fermin at third neither scott or saggese can hit but at least you have good outfield defense or like you said just hit gorman ninth against the lefty and see if he can run into one or muscle a bloop in for a hit he’s started saggs three games in a row it’s just giving away outs at this pointJuanAgosto wrote: ↑12 May 2026 21:56 pm0 for his last 30, Rock.
