I’ll admit, I’ve been ready to move on from Noot for awhile now. When he’s going good, he can be an exciting player, but it never lasts for very long. He gets injured and the disappointment sets in again.
However, now we are learning that these heel issues have been an ongoing thing for years. Noot, himself, believes that they have led to most of his other injuries! I don’t know about that, but I guess it’s possible. I say let him get healthy, let him do a rehab assignment, and see where he’s at. If nothing changes, then cut bait, and get what you can for him. But, if he’s right, and he’s able to stay healthy and produce! Then maybe he’s a near All-Star type player, whose value to the team increases, and his trade value goes way up as well. I’m still pessimistic, but the Cardinals are in a position to wait it out and see.
Will this team have a 100 RBI man?
