No one is doing that.
Please see thread Second Coming of Joey Votto and get back to me.
Dude, he'(poop) at every level.
I think it's a safe bet he continues to hit.
JMO
I think it is a good bet he does but at this point it is a bet.
I must have mistyped hit for [shirt]!!!!
I meant hit.
Sorry about that.
I sort of figured that or hit with pop. No problem and I don’t mean to trash your thread. Expectations for JJ are high.

I'm impressed with his maturity.
Talent is talent, but this kid is just all around special.

Counterpoint: there's nothing really to discuss right now, just let him have this.

Okay, screw it. He really is gonna be the next Joey Votto, George Brett, Chase Utley, Joe Morgan, Rod Carew, whoever.

He'll make all of them look like chumps!!

I’m thinking 10 years $500 million. He’s earned it.

Seriously, good to see him get one.

Yes, ONE ! In this thread we distinctly remember your one word reply on what JJ needed to improve on… ‘Hits’.
So that’s plural. Will one more ‘earn’ a spot for him or more needed ?
I know some wanted to see batted balls go for hits in the field of play. That is understandable and I realize he still hasn’t done that.
His batted ball today landed over the wall 422ft. away !
I was so sure he could get a hit in the field of play.
Cmon, JJ ! We know you can do it Concentrate ! get a single, double, or triple ! LOL
Havin fun !

As I said in first post he will make it regardless of results. Donovan trade almost makes it a default roster move.
