Do you really expect an answer from this troll? Given each team's conference performance to date, I expected A&M to be an 8-9 point favorite at home.winonsports wrote: ↑11 Feb 2026 15:09 pmSince you are questioning your own thought, the answer is NO.
Just because AM lost by 20 at home in their last game to a team Mizzou already beat, that doesn't mean Mizzou should be a double-digit favorite.
And how can you think AM would be a bigger favorite, when they just lost by 20 at home in their last game to a team Mizzou already beat?

Lots of talk how they need 10 wins to get in and likely 1 tournament win as well.
This team is not easy to predict.....I'm still waiting for their best basketball....as seen below with three ranked wins and a home game sweep....here's how I pick 'em:
A&M (R) L
Texas W
Vandy W
AR (R) L
Tenn W
MS (R) W
OK(R) L
AR W
Good choices for remaining 8 games.
I am actually hoping Mizzou knocks off Texas A&M.
Florida killed A&M on Saturday and this Chicago kid, Rashaun Agee looked bad.
Agee is the centerpiece of A&Ms offense and he looks vulnerable.
Well, Mizzou beat Florida and we are certainly capable of beating A&M.
Stop Agee and we can win this game.

You feel that the committee would look at a team with a 9-9 conference record and a run the the SEC Championship game the same way as a 9-9 team who lost in the first round?Sophrosyne wrote: ↑08 Feb 2026 15:56 pmNo, actually they don't. A 10-8 conference record gets you into the NCAA tournament. An 8-10 or 9-9 record, even if you throw on a couple of SEC tournament wins, likely doesn't get you into the NCAA field.winonsports wrote: ↑08 Feb 2026 15:35 pmThey mean the same as the regular season.Sophrosyne wrote: ↑08 Feb 2026 09:58 am Let me clear this up (pardon the contortion of English). We win 4 more, we are in with a 10-8 conference record. If we end up 9-9, I don't think we get in, even with some wins in the SEC tourny. Wins in the SEC tourny mean little.
Re: The Last 8
With 3 of their last 7 games against teams they are tied in the league with and 1 against a team 1 game ahead of them, they definitely hold their destiny in their own hands.

Not necessarily. But I was responding to the comment that conference tournament wins are the same as regular season conference wins, which I think is inaccurate.Bob39 wrote: ↑12 Feb 2026 11:17 amYou feel that the committee would look at a team with a 9-9 conference record and a run the the SEC Championship game the same way as a 9-9 team who lost in the first round?Sophrosyne wrote: ↑08 Feb 2026 15:56 pmNo, actually they don't. Think all you want, but conference tournament games are put into the same Quads as regular season games.Sophrosyne wrote: ↑12 Feb 2026 18:18 pmNot necessarily.
