Louie, I want to believe this. My problem is the past history of the top prospects who have, most often, been disappointing. Still, maybe with a new sheriff in town, things have changed.
The good news "V" is that past history was under Mo's mismanagement!

I've been as disappointed as you in the poor development but now we have a system, in place for two years, that should rectify that problem.

JJW will be the first graduate and I'm really excited to see how he does this coming season in St. Louis.
Lol. JJ was under the old regime in the minors
Nope

He came in AFTER C. Bloom (who started to revamp the minor league system in 2024) had already put his minor league player development system in place and kept adding to it in 2025 meaning JJW has had two season under Bloom's minor league system since he joined the organization.

Surprised you didn't know that.
Nope. Pre existing coaches were there

2024 in Palm Beach

The 2024 manager of the Palm Beach Cardinals is Gary Kendall. He will be returning for his third year with the team, leading them in the Florida State League. Kendall has a rich history in minor league baseball, having spent 17 seasons in the Baltimore Orioles farm system before joining the Cardinals organization.

2025. Memphis

Ben Johnson is the manager of the Memphis Redbirds, having returned for his seventh season in 2025. He has achieved significant milestones, including becoming the winningest manager in Memphis Redbirds history, with 368 wins, and leading the team to an 80-68 record during the 2025 season. Johnson, a Memphis native, has a strong connection to the community and has been instrumental in developing future stars for the St. Louis Cardinals.

2025 Springfield
Patrick Anderson will take the helm at Springfield (AA) after managing the three previous seasons in Peoria, replacing former skipper José Leger, who will now serve as Assistant Field & Baserunning Coordinator based in Jupiter.
But you're missing the additions & systems that Bloom added in 2024/2025:

His key changes include:

Expanded Staff: Bloom has significantly increased the number of coaches and support personnel throughout the minor league system. This includes adding specific director roles, such as a director of pitching (Matt Pierpont) and a director of hitting (Dalton Hurd), along with their respective support staffs.

Modernized Technology and Analytics: He has emphasized the leveraging of information and innovation, bringing the organization up to modern industry standards in the use of data and equipment for player evaluation and development.

Enhanced Physical Training and Sports Medicine: The system now places a greater emphasis on combining performance and medical aspects, including improved physical training and sports medicine practices to help players stay healthy and perform optimally.

Facilities Upgrades: The organization has committed to upgrading its facilities, including an overhaul of the spring training complex in Jupiter, Florida, and improvements to the academy in the Dominican Republic.

Shift in Scouting and Drafting Philosophy: There has been a noticeable shift in the amateur draft, with the Cardinals now prioritizing different types of players, such as pitchers with high velocity and "swing-and-miss" stuff, which was not the case under the previous regime.

Individualized Development Plans: The renewed system focuses on individual development plans for prospects, aiming to provide all necessary resources for success at the Major League level.

JJW (two full years under Bloom's revamped minor league system) and every other young player in the system has benefited from these since 2024.

JJW will be the first true graduate under Bloom's full system.

No. Same managers... c'mon
The point stands, JJW will be the first true position player graduate who had the benefit of Bloom's full minor league player system.
