If Blloom can get at least one more viable MOTO bat. I'd flip Herrera and Burleson at 5 and 6 depending on the starter. Unless there's an upgrade to the lineup> I'd take Burleson at 5 vs a RHP. Especially, a RHP with really good stuff. Herrera strikes out too much against that type RHP.JuanAgosto wrote: ↑18 Nov 2025 18:08 pmThat makes sense.craviduce wrote: ↑17 Nov 2025 20:13 pmthat's pretty good, JA.JuanAgosto wrote: ↑17 Nov 2025 19:52 pm Current roster, Herrera is anywhere 3-5.
Winn is 2, 6, or 7.
Burleson is anywhere 3-6.
Scott is 9.
Though, with current roster, you assume Donovan is 1st, and then Herrera would offset the LHB by batting 2nd. If Donovan is traded, then JJ leads off, and Herrera still bats 2nd
What are the ideal spots in the batting order for these four?

Man, I'm with you. During the season you constructed a brilliant Jordan Walker for Bubba Chandler trade. Kudos for your exceptional vision and shame on the Cardinals for not executing. I eagerly await the return you propose for a better player in Donovan. It will astonish all of us.Shady wrote: ↑18 Nov 2025 17:48 pmI do have some names in mind. And if they have an overabundance of talent at starting pitching and/or at a position in which a really nice bat is available.
