Arizona made trade sense for Arenado as it is 6 hours from his home in So. California... 350 miles or so
Corbin Burnes selected Arizona as he already resided there with his wife and kids. While Arizona team needs and positions were mentioned often, I would think the geography played a significant role in Arenado waiving his NTC to Arizona ... another sunny , warm climate that his wife and daughter would love comparable to their home area. Nado's wife is also from So. Cal ...same HS I believe. A wonderful opportunity to finish his career close to home. Can't beat that if you can get it.
