Yes, it’s quite a mystery “how that got turned around” . . .Cranny wrote: ↑11 Nov 2025 18:39 pmCranny wrote: ↑11 Nov 2025 17:59 pmWhatever you say, AOF. That only became something because YOU made it something.
By the way, AOF, I started this thread and made the 1st post. What I said, after I showed his slash lines from his 2024 and 2025 outstanding offensive seasons was - "he's played 2B, 3B, 1B, C, and OF. How that got turned around, I have no idea. But it's really unimportant. Correctors have to correct. Bashers have to bash.

It’s not “what makes me happy”. It’s literally all I said

Of my gosh, NY!! What a horrible, egregious mistake I made! I'm so terribly sorry. In my opening post I said he had played catcher and in a later post is said he plays catcher. It was "he played" vs. "he plays". Thank you so much for fly specking and finding that awful, awful mistake. My most sincere apology to you. I'll simply have to find a way to make it up to you.NYCardsFan wrote: ↑11 Nov 2025 19:09 pmYes, it’s quite a mystery “how that got turned around” . . .Cranny wrote: ↑11 Nov 2025 18:39 pmCranny wrote: ↑11 Nov 2025 17:59 pmWhatever you say, AOF. And you could have avoided all of this with a simple, “you’re right, he’s not a catcher”Cranny wrote: ↑11 Nov 2025 21:19 pmOf my gosh, NY!! What a horrible, egregious mistake I made! Yeah, I’m trying to. And the solution is pretty simple for you, but you’ve yet to just take an ounce of accountability for this going sideways.Cranny wrote: ↑11 Nov 2025 21:44 pmPut it to bed, AOF. I tried to tell you he isn’t a catcher. The simplest thing for you to do was own that you were wrong about it. You’re still struggling to do that, and blaming others for it.
You realize how easy it would’ve been to just say, “yeah, you’re right”, right?!?

Cranny: Just say it. It is very important to AOF to be told he's right in the words he's chosen for you.
Then he will know he saved you and the rest of us from what you weren't intending to say.

Re: Bryan Torres
Baghdad Bob never admits to being wrong.. instead he will argue and argue, eventually claiming to being a victim and being attacked...and will disappear from the thread...another interesting thread highjacked

Here we are in another fine 12 round bout. Too early for popcorn and coke, so a bowl will have to do.
I caught one game.

Do you think it’s the toughest position on a player and toughest position ( third, short? ) to play.WLTFE wrote: ↑12 Nov 2025 05:40 amsikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑12 Nov 2025 04:16 am Here we are in another fine 12 round bout. Too early for popcorn and coke, so a bowl will have to do.
I caught one game.my son caught in high school, for awhile...came home every day with a new bump or bruise
Re: Bryan Torres
Toughest physically with the constant squatting and foul tips, balls in the dirt...all the equipment...affected his hitting as well...shortstop and CF are your athletes and better players...catchers are grinders...sikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑12 Nov 2025 05:48 amDo you think it’s the toughest position on a player and toughest position ( third, short? ) to play.WLTFE wrote: ↑12 Nov 2025 05:40 amsikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑12 Nov 2025 04:16 am Here we are in another fine 12 round bout. I’d agree. Interesting you say SS and CF. What about second base. A watered down version of short.WLTFE wrote: ↑12 Nov 2025 06:13 amToughest physically with the constant squatting and foul tips, balls in the dirt...all the equipment...affected his hitting as well...shortstop and CF are your athletes and better players...catchers are grinders...sikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑12 Nov 2025 05:48 amDo you think it’s the toughest position on a player and toughest position ( third, short? ) to play.WLTFE wrote: ↑12 Nov 2025 05:40 amsikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑12 Nov 2025 04:16 am Here we are in another fine 12 round bout.
