This is dumb.
If you're trading Winn, then you are doing it to add either a TOR pitcher or MOTO bat.
If you do that then JJW is your plan at SS.
I'm doing neither at this point.
Currently I am moving forward with both Winn and JJW as foundational pieces of my future.

Obviously anyone can be dealt especially if the right deal comes around.
Based on the Cards current situation I can only see them dealing Winn for:
A TOR cost controlled SP.
Or
A legit cost controlled middle of the order bat.
I know people are anxious to see Bloom hit the ground running but I would preach patience.
Contending teams are generally strong up the middle and Winn/JJ gives them a good young combo.
Catching in the system looks promising.
Can Scott hit??

Trading a young gold glove contending shortstop with offensive upside that is making the league minimum so you can give a giant contact to an older free agent shortstop that is one of the worst defensive shortstops is exactly the type of idea I expect to see here.
