I would trade Pallante even if there was low/no value coming back so that they are not tempted to think of him as a part of the starting rotation at any point next season.ICCFIM2 wrote: ↑30 Oct 2025 15:41 pm Arenado - His time has passed.
Nootbar - I don't see his upside. Even if he starts the season with the team due to the injury, I keep him on this list.
Pages/Crooks - They have excess at C and should get something in return of similar value in a position of need.
I did not put Gorman on the list as he can get more runway in 2026 while they sort out the infield.
I did not put Donovan on the list as I still think he will be in his prime when the team is ready to compete. But, if they are not intending on extending him, I would put him on the list if the return is right.
I did not put Gray on the list as the team severely lacks SP. He is not taking anyone's spot.
I did not put Contreras on the list, but probably should have in place of Pages/Crooks as we have plenty of players who can play 1B.
I did not put Walker on the list as his value is likely zero. They need to give it one more go.
I did not put Pallante on the list, but would trade him if there was any value coming back.
