Is the Dodgers pitching now the story line. Gave up 3,3,1 against Philly. That 7-8 games giving up three runs or less, one run five times. In post season.
Heck the Reds scored the most, 4 and 5 runs.

It’s a good thing that the Dodgers farm system produced all of that starting pitching. Ohtani/Yamamoto were international signings. Snell was a FA. Those three only cost the Dodgers money. Lucrative deals but just money. Only Glasnow was acquired through trade. He cost the Dodgers Pepiot. What the Dodgers have produced are guys like Pepiot, Buehler, May, Sheehan etc which probably just isn’t good enough.
Even the offensive side is heavy on the outside the organization guys. Ohtani IFA, Betts trade, Freeman trade, Teoscar FA, Edman trade. Not knocking the Dodgers farm system but the Dodgers major players are from outside the organization. For as high as the Dodgers farm system is constantly rated, the major players didn’t come from there.
Wanted to note a correction to your post. Freeman was NOT a trade. He was acquired thru free agency after Freddie chose not to resign with Atlanta. Braves offered a 5 year deal and Freeman wanted 6 years. Braves said No and Dodgers gave him the 6th year .

No problem. You had a very good post and made your points well. Just wanted to add another guy that Dodgers got for 'free' so to speak like Snell, Ohtani, Yamamoto .. They bought a lot of top talent and did not relinquish personnel on their major league roster nor farm system to get those premier players.
