Honestly Stenberg has impressed me throughout the preseason… he deserves a role with the big club

Kasimaki and Lindstein as well. I would go as far to say I wouldn’t have a problem cutting Joseph Texier Lucic Sundqvist loose or playing in Springfield but I know that’s not the way this organization operates. They’ll pay unnecessary contracts to veterans like always.

Texier looks good tonight.

He looks ok, looks fast but there seems to be a lot of open ice

The problem is what he does when he enters the zone. His plays usually end up on the other team's possession.

The Hawks narrative is they could have prevented the Blues from making the postseason by winning that shootout last season. Two preseason games, two discussions of it. Blues probably don't barf away the Seattle game if they needed that point tho.

I think I'd have to give the last two spots to Joesph and Texier. I love the idea of what Lucic brings but he just seems so slow.
Skinner is who I would give the number 7 D to. Dvorsky and Stenberg have looked good but I'd send them down to keep developing.

I know what Lucic brings but he's at the end of his road, if not this year then soon. Texier has looked good tonight, made a few good plays to keep the puck deep and made a quick play to Suter for a scoring chance.

They're both being outplayed by Stenberg, Dvorsky and Kaskimaki.
