Yes, Hansen is replaced to start the 6th inning. He’d only thrown 72 pitches. I know it’s the playoffs, so I’m not going to complain, too much, but it really does seem to be a theme with the Cardinals handling of their pitchers. 5 innings and DONE. They are never going to build up any major league pitching by this method, in my opinion!

Hansen has thrown 14 more innings than last year.
he hit a little wall in the 5th inning after 2 outs....you go to your BP in the playoffs
the BP just isn't doing their job.

Yeah, ok, but my point is Hansen could have been throwing BB’s and they would have still taken him out! They’ve done it with all their pitchers all season long!
