Everyone needs to understand this:

BDWJR will have the final say on whether Oli stays on for 2026 or is fired after seasons end.

Dewitt is involved (and as the owner has the FINAL SAY) on almost EVERY SINGLE major decision, he's a lifetime baseball man and he makes the final call!

If he decides 2026 is yet another "runway/re-build" season (and by all accounts it's going to be), then he may just stick w/Oli (who's under contract for 2026) and let him assist w/developing these young players.

After 2026 when Oli's contract expires, then and likely only then will C. Bloom choose his new Manager.

JMO but I strongly think this is how it's going to play out.

And if it does play out like that, II & III are looking at attendance under two million. They would be throwing down the gauntlet to their customers, which is a bet-the-company move. I wonder what the minority owners are thinking.

IF they don't give C. Bloom a reasonable payroll ($150M?) and IF they retain Oli, then they're looking at well under 2M in 2026.
