Has he ascended to the most hated man in Cardinals history beating out Don Denkinger?
Re: Legacy defined????
Would you accept "question his intelligence?"

I genuinely don't understand how you've gotten this far in life.

But it's not all-encompassing. You need something that takes into account all the crazy extensions and free agent signings as well. In other words, often his pure incompetence when he did act. I'm not sure with that incompetence that moving in fast motion would have been a better idea.

Allow me to expound on the meaning of the branding, without being loquacious which I am loathe to do.
"Super Slo Mo" is designed to work on 3 levels, each of which captures a unique and different aspect of his failed leadership.
Mo is fearful, timid, cautious, which causes him to be late on necessary decisions regardless of how obvious they are.
Mo regrettably is a challenged learner, repeatedly gaining no insights from past mistakes.
Mo was never blessed with much baseball acumen to begin with, operating with an 8-inch ruler in a foot long world.
Does that help?

The owner always controls the purse. But Mozeliak put a torch to tens of millions of the owner's dollars in contracts like those with Leake, Fowler, Miller, Holland, Cecil, etc., and extensions like those to Matt Carpenter and Mikolas.whowadat wrote: ↑27 Aug 2025 00:54 am Bill DeWitt Jr.'s LACKEY!
Being a firm believer in the Harry S Truman mantra....The Buck Stops Here!....I can't help but think that MO's hands were tied by BDJr who is a businessman that runs the Cards like a business. Maybe MO is inept as they come, but if the man holding the purse strings tells you to be successful with one hand tied behind your back...then maybe history will show that MO worked wonders while working for a penny-pinching micro manager.
Now myself, if I was put under pressure to succeed without the money to fund the resources I felt I needed to compete against those who were spending the money....I would not be silent and I would of been fired for opening my mouth. Look no further than Mike Shildt who's problem was more than likely BDJr. rather than MO....same could be said for Pujols possibly.
Anyways, if MO is so completely inept than we have BDJr. to thank for not letting him go much, much sooner. Who knows, might just be the Peter Principle wherein someone not too baseball smart...BDJr., needed someone he felt was even dumber to run the show and provide him with a fall guy.

So the word slow takes on more than one meaning here. As in slow on the uptake. Anyway, I like your description of him.Melville wrote: ↑27 Aug 2025 08:47 amSolid input on your part and taken under due consideration.icon wrote: ↑27 Aug 2025 08:30 amBut it's not all-encompassing. Nothing to a rational person, but this is St. Louis. The Venn diagram of people who don't like Mo's fashion sense and the people who are up in arms over Cracker Barrel is probably two circles on top of each other.
