I think Sonny stays. My guess is that Bloom will be able to move Nado and maybe WC. Mo’s sideways roster construction will begin to transform into Bloom’s. I’m guessing it will be more athletic and will also have a cleanup hitter. I’m sure his focus will be on pitching, and cost controlled SPs are expensive.

Depends on what manager he brings in. An established hard nosed MLB manager with experience is needed, not everybody’s buddy as is the case now
Arenado and Gray will waive their NTC, Gray to Atlanta is my prediction, and Arenado to wherever some sucker will bite, might have to eat some salary
I would also trade one or two of Burleson, Noot and Donovan for pitching.
This team is woefully short on pitching

He'll have to give to get. Guys like Nootbaar fetch nothing. And I seriously doubt he trades Crooks in a rebuild. Not yet anyway. That would mean another year of Pages/Pozo at C because Bernal isn't ready. Maybe Crooks gets traded next offseason unless he makes himself invaluable to the Cardinals.
I'm thinking Donovan has to be on the block. He has value -- but only 2 more years of control and shows no inclination to sign an extension. And now, I'm not even sure Bloom would offer one or be allowed to offer one. But whom to package with with Donovan to net a young stud starter with years of control because Donovan alone won't get such a deal done? Of course, Noot or Saggese could be a throw-in, but perhaps Walker could clinch the deal if the trading partner in question wants to take a flier on untapping his potential at still a young age.
Just spitballing here.

By a #2 pitcher I pretty sure he is talking about a #2 as when you set on the toilet and take a #2 type pitcher. Good luck having any team give you a true #2 pitcher with years of control that doesn’t cost much salary wise for that proposed trade.

I would think the Twins will be much more inclined to move Lopez because of his contract and their motivation to shed payroll. Plus side to that is if the Cards take on all the money, the package is more in line with your idea. Joe Ryan is going to take a haul.
