Watching Gorman and Walker take AB’s late in the game yesterday was painful. This season is almost in the books and their stat lines are terrible. Do we get ANOTHER season of watching that??? We wait til Walker is 27/28 and then declare bust….this org needs some REAL Skilled talent evaluators.

That is what he is being paid for.

He’s not a ML pitcher. How many times does he leave floating junk right over the plate? The hitter may actually not connect on them all. But it’s floating BP launch balls….

The team is fully aware that he is the equivalent of a batting cage pitching machine at an amusement park.
He is being paid to take a beating, filling innings in meaningless games.

They have a couple young arms they could MLB test at starter these last few weeks. Perhaps they get lucky and find an option for next season

But Mikolas has a contract paying him to take the beatings.
