They should honor any employee who’s been with the team in a number of different capacities (including a number of key capacities) over 30 years. Lots of successes over that period of time.
Again, it’s just too bad that the results haven’t been there (because of his questionable decisions) over the past decade or so, and he leaves on such a sour note.

Normally I’d agree but it’s at least 5 yrs late. It will just be awkward as hell now I think. A more private party might be in order in this case.
