Royals took Mozzicato 7th overall back in 2021...he was the 40th overall ranked player on most draft boards....got him for 2million less than slot, I believe he signed around 3.5million. He spent the better part of the last 3 seasons with Quad Cities...just now getting it together as a prospect.
Dangers of drafting a HS pitcher....it TAKES A LONG time most times...and he's a LHP pitcher, so it should be easier. He's probably going to make it to the show...I hope he does.
