Wow. He's on fire. Again, he let a close outside breaking ball go by and then crushed the 86 mph breaking ball up a bit. I'm serious about him being the hope. We have very legit guys for the MLB in Witherholt and Bernal, but a CF with power and speed? That's why he's so important.

Watching Wetherholt play SS more these days and his arm is better than I thought. He could handle 3b I think, except for the power. (I'm sedentary after hamstring surgery so I'm watching a lot more.)

Berrios gets Springfield to the bottom of the 8th, after a few BBs (3 in 2 IP, but no hits).
Wetherholt, Bernal, Mendoza and hopefully Baez gets a chance at a 3 HR game.

And JJ gets his 2nd BB so maybe Baez will get the chance!

Bernal hits a rope to RC for an out, thenMendoza hits a perfect DP ball to SS but he ole's the thing. So Baez up with 2 on.
