Donovan out and Noot has been abysmal.
Contreras needs help. Hitters park....somebody needs to pop one or they probably lose.
Oli will stubbornly stick with Noot at leadoff until the cows come home.
Scott would be ideal of course with his speed.
But he needs to stop popping the ball up.
If he hits it on the ground he gets a ton of IF hits.
At least Noot used to show discipline and take walks.
Now he just flails.
He strikes me as very likable but not very bright.
And he doesn’t possess enough raw talent to get past the low baseball IQ.
Hurdy should bat leadoff while Noots is flailing

Argo will never sniff leadoff.
Probably.
He’s fine at #9 and becomes a second LO hitter after the first.
Frustrating to watch a guy with that speed constantly try to pull and also pop up.
If he slaps the ball the other way it’ll be tough to throw him out.
I don't get "Argo"
where did that come from and why?

He may end up being like the old Reds CFer who could never hit, but was fast and a good CFer with the glove

The Cards IF alignments confuse me on a regular basis.
Helsley throwing 100- They play every banjo hitter grossly to pull and leave the middle open.
Pitch hitters away- Yet play them to pull.

And with Contreras up why is Arenado so far off the line?
He needs to at least keep that in the infield.
Confusing.
