Another ex Blue figures in the scoring.
I did not see the shot go in from the camera angle. I just saw the reaction of the players so I was kind of stunned in a good way.

Yes, it’s now a series

A few minutes before Walman scored they showed him on the screen and talked about him briefly...I said to the TV (bleep) Walman you better not score the game winner! He scored a few minutes later and gave the Oil the lead....lol

What a series this has become.
Every game has been a nail biter.
I can't believe the Oil came back in that one. I thought the Cats were gonna lock that down.

I’m rooting for the Panthers, so didn’t like seeing them puke up the lead. But I love Game 7’s more than almost anything on earth, and we took a step towards that tonight!

Now time for me to check and see what happened after the first period. Gonna take a really big sip of hot coffee first…

I'm very tired of the Florida teams dominating the Stanley Cup playoffs. Past time for the Blues to dominate for 6 years!

Go go Edmonton, Kappy and Walman , to get your names o the Cup this season

Two things I'm dearly hoping for:

(1) Canada to bring back home THEIR Cup for THEIR sport after 32 years; and
(2) Connor McDavid --- this century's Bobby Orr --- to finally see his name where it belongs: Engraved on the Stanley Cup.

Florida had complete control of that game and then started skating like it was the ice capades.

They controlled almost the entire third and the OT, but Pickard stood up.

It'll be interesting to see how Florida now adjusts to Pickard likely getting the start in game 5.

They went into a defensive shell game and Blues fans could have told them how that would end. If they would have stayed on the forecheck with the 3-0 lead they would have been fine.

Yeah, busy counting chickens. The Panthers have to play balls to the wall hockey or they are very ordinary.

Another thing I noticed, after the first period it was like Kane disappeared. They must have got in his face in the locker room.

"(1) Canada to bring back home THEIR Cup for THEIR sport after 32 years"

Exactly why I don't want a Canadian team to win the Cup. I'd rather have Marchand win the Cup than a Canadian team.

I've said this a thousand times.Winning in the playoffs comes down to timely saves. The Oilers really weren't getting that from Skinner - although it is hard to fault him on Florida coming out of the gate with fire in their eyes. At 3-1 Pickard made a save on Lindell after a turnover at the blueline. That was the save that re-set the Oilers. Not only for Game 4, but it may have re-set them for this series.

Pickard is now 7-0 in the 2025 playoffs.

Kind of a strange take. I’ll never understand the whole it’s THEIR cup mentality. Like Canada owns the cup and America stole it. Super odd thought process.
