that is irrelevant. the running lane is from where you are a line and not more than 3 feet out of it.

No, he stepped into the green. The big issue is Muncy tried to grab him with his hand while the ball is in his glove. If he ran thru the Muncy grab...probably awarded home

jesus people read the rules. that dirt lane means nothing. Stepping on the grass, means nothing.
a straight line between their position and the base they are attempting to reach when a play is being made on them. This baseline is established when a fielder attempts to tag the runner out, and a runner is out if they run more than three feet away from this line to avoid being tagged, unless they are avoiding interference with a fielder fielding a batted ball.

Winn almost has just as many caught steeling/pick offs as he does stolen bases in his career
And he has more pick offs this year the does stolen bases

What is the definition of the baseline, either of you??? Just stepping into the green means nothing by itself., Lets not dumb down the knowledge of baseball rules.rockondlouie wrote: ↑07 Jun 2025 13:36 pmThx youscoutyjones2 wrote: ↑07 Jun 2025 13:33 pmNo, he stepped into the green.
