Hopefully they don't wait until Gorman is untradeable also. If we have Arenado for 2 more seasons, he WILL be the 3B. If we hang on to Donovan, Gorman, Sagesse, Winn, and Wetherholt during that time as well, that will get really stagnant. Gorman and Sagesse will lose playing time and trade value while their service clocks continue to run. Some of the trades at the deadline will be more about roster/asset management than being a "buyer" or a "seller".

It's gotten to the point that when he comes up to bat, especially with runners on, I immediately say out loud to myself, "Please Nado, do not pop up this time."

He will be difficult to trade, even with his consent. If the team wanted to make these things known to him to gain his consent, I guess they could. However, if they are to have any hope of trading him, they couldn't follow through on this until after the deadline. If we treat him like he has no value, or that he is washed up- guess what? Others will too. It doesn't serve the goal?

Of course they do, and for that reason it may not be possible to trade him under any circumstances. I'm just saying that if our goal is to try to trade him, overt actions like that don't serve that goal.

His hitting is not good. He’s becoming a late inning defensive replacement.
