in a given inning, let's say Noot and Winn both get on base, think of the speed......

okay, the 2nd one was clearly ball 4.blackinkbiz wrote: ↑30 Apr 2025 12:04 pmActually, it wasn't. The first one was clearly a strike. I would expect Cards pitchers to get that call every time. Willy's an idiot.

The fanbases over estimation of what Lars Nootbaar's abilities really are continues. He is not that fast.
Nootbaar's sprint speed has been somewhat average within the MLB. In 2023, his 27.8 ft/s placed him in the 225th percentile, meaning he was slower than most players in the league. In 2022, his 28.2 ft/s placed him in the 160th percentile, still not particularly fast. His 28.4 ft/s in 2021 placed him in the 109th percentile.

Run, Victor....don't stay on 1B. Don't let Noot swing away with you on 1B

Let me re-phase.
Let's say Oli has VS2 and Masyn at 1 and 2 and they both get on in a given inning.
Talk about speed on the bases

ugh...SOB, Winn.
you have to adjust, he threw you ALL sliders....adjust in the box, move around. You have to move the runners over . Now a DP ends this
