Noot ranks 2nd among lead-off hitters w/more than 100 PA's w/a .405 OB% which is fantastic!

VSII may one day be the natural to hit lead-off but right now he's a distant second to Noot, I leave him in the #8/9 hole for the season.

Yep, Noot is the perfect leadoff hitter. Now I would like them to figure out the 2nd spot better and if he keeps hitting like he has been I might be inclined to move Winn to 2nd with Contreras 5th.
For me it's I. Hererra upon his return.

-RHH'er
-Decent running speed so he won't clog the bases

I like M. Winn right where he's at, #9 makes him a defacto lead-off hitter w/o the pressure of actually hitting lead-off which really messed w/him last season and this spring. He'(poop) really well at the bottom of the order vs the top.

Hererra is my guy, hope Oli can see it.

We dont need to donthis every time noot has a single 0-4 game. Noot has been good at leadoff. If it aint broke dont fix it.

Having VS2 LO, with Noot 2nd and Donovan in the 3 hole was my thinking earlier, but putting Winn at 2 has really worked well in SSS.
With VS2 hitting 9th, when he gets on then has the patient Noot hitting which should enhance his chances for the SB.
I think the Cards made a good call putting Winn at 2, as he is the more proven MLB hitter at this point compared to VS2.

Noot has been good, Vic would be better!

As I correctly analyzed before the season began, Scoot belongs at 1 and Lars The Human Sushi-baar should hit 9th.

Noot is in a slump. Does not look good, has not for several games.

Noot is better at getting on base. Scott has been a pleasant surprise. Leave them
Both be.

The only thing holding up Noot's OPS are mainly the walks. His hitting has been largely putrid.

Last 7 games: .074/.194/.148

Last 30 games: .193/.328/.333

So some people want a guy with a lower OBP leading off?

The two guys are virtually mirror images of each other offensively.

Holy Christopher, is Nootbar slumping. Might need to try a slump buster. Put on a pair of women's underwear under his uni?
