Thx duce
Well we got what we wanted, WillyC dropped all the way to #3.
Baker in the #2 hole, that won't clog up the bases one bit.
It won't when one or the other or both, slug
285 lb #2 hitter, right out of the "How to (NOT!) construct your lineup handbook" written by Oli.
Just wondering, does he run faster if hitting 5th?
Nope
Doesn't clog up the bases for the MOTO there either.
Id rather he have Nado chasing him around the bases than Scott and Saggese.
I look at it this way. If you have Scott and Saggese getting on base Baker is not a bad guy to have hitting behind them.
I liked Walker there yesterday, when he gets back I'd put Hererra (runs well) there.

after out #2, F8, Chip said two popouts so far.
hey Chip, try to be accurate once in a while.
Stott's line drive to Walker was NOT a popout.

I expect Phillie will be none too happy about a shut out. Plus the Mik on the mound.
I see our run differential being skewed again to the left.
would not be surprising
Based on what I saw last time out, phillie will feast. Mik is super accurate and that’s an issue. Hitters know a strike of sorts is coming. Almost like a tip of pitches.
If MM can go 5, and allow 4, I'd take that right now.
Me too. Phillie not only lost, they wasted an Ace performance. And got shut out. And it’s Mik. A simple Sikeston math problem.

Ump blows two calls in Schwarber's AB. Pitch 3 and 9 were both solid strikes.

Balls are strikes, strikes are balls.

those pitches were even borderline, they were clearly strikes. terrible calls.
just cost us 2 runs. Mikolas was screwed.

that was fun....Miles is done. His only chance was a quick first
the ump took that away.
2-0, Phillies....more is coming
