I like the lineup vs the LH starter.
Only question I had coming into today was whether
Gorman or Donovan at 2B?
Both LH but Donovan has a much better history against LH pitching.
Donovan has not sat yet.
Gorman coming off a monster game!
Based on history Donovan the better choice.
Gorman in there tomorrow.
What!? Donovan has 0 career home runs against lhp.

Donovan career OPS vs LHP starters: .642
Gorman career OPS vs LHP starters: .761
Maybe Gorman plays tomorrow and Wednesday.
Oli obviously doesn't use his iPad for anything useful.
As i explained earlier. Those splits are false and meaningless. It is froms baseball references page, but the page explains the splits are nit how they did vs left handed or right handed starters but just how they did for the whole game thazbwas either szarted by a lefthanded or right handed putcher.
For instances, gorman could come into the game in the 7th inning to pinch hit vs a right handed reliever and it would count on his spkits of "vs lefthanded starter" because a lefthanded starter started the game.
The site says they use the split as a proxy for years where they dont have play by play data like looking at box scores from 1800s to early 1900s where they see a player got a hit but no idea which litcher it was against.
I hate baseball reference has these splits ciz everylne cpnsta tly misunderstands and posts them thinking its how the players actually do vs lefthanded or righthanded starters.

Donovan does has a career .341 ovp vs lefties. He just hits for no power. Gorman does have a higher career ops vs them though cuz he hits for some homeruns

Not surprised.
I’d still much rather have Donovan at the plate vs a lefty.
Just saw Freddie Freeman is out tonight after slipping in shower and tweaking his injured ankle.
I've seen some on here question could the Dodgers 30yo+ core could stay healthy.
